If the mind and body are essentially different substances, how can there be any causal connection between them?

mind and body
pewerka82 asked:

I have to write an essay on above question and I need some ideas. Thank you.
Dualists, Idealists, and Materialists have proposed different solutions
to the Mind-Body Problem. Though you may agree with one of these
solutions, I’d like you to propose your own solution to this problem.

Most evidence from psychology shows that mind and brain are one. the brain is the physical and the mind is the processing of it.

The mind experiences life through the body, the body cannot live without the mind. It can be seen as a symbiont relationship, a duality (which everything exists as) or as one. But that is more a subjective matter, the fact is they can’t live without the other (atleast in this world)

The use of gravity matter can affect substance but would not gravity exist without mind to percieve it that should get you started.
