Why is it so hard to find a Boxing Gym to learn boxing for the sake of physical fitness?

I live in a fairly small city. I am 35 and was considering taking boxing as a means to fitness. I can’t find one. I take Brazilian Jujitsu, but would like to take boxing as well. There are MMA classes, Karate, Taekwondo, Kungfu, everything except for boxing. Why is that?
